Te Puke Youth Choir

Choir each week Thursday Term 1 and 4 , Wednesday Term 2 and 3
3.20 to 4.15 pm

Trinity School of London Pop and Rock Exams

Students have the opportunity to do these exams .  They are a international exam which will look good on any person's CV but also provides excellent progression in developing the voice.
These are done on line .

Disney Prince and Princess
​Mashup Show

Carol Power Voice Studio Student's will be performing Disney Prince and Princess Modern Musical songs in a Musical Mashup shop . There will also be opportunity for children from 7 to 18 who are not students of the studio to audition for the show .  The show will be in July

Studio Recording ​

The  choir go to a recording studio at the end of the year where they record a group song.  Last year one of the songs we did was Pepeha .  This happens at the end of November  

Live Performances

It is important for vocalist to experience doing live performances.  CPVS students do a number of live performances during the year including the Daily Café  Friday Free Pizza Night  the first Friday of  each month , Christmas in the Park and other local events.
We are also looking into busking shortly.

. This Happens in At the end of each year my students have the opportunity to record songs they have learnt during the year.  This si a wonderful record of their vocal progress and excellent for auditions . This happens in November

                     Live Performances

The youth choir  do a number of live performances during the                                                                                                                                                     year including the Daily Café  Friday Free Pizza Night  the first                                                                                                                                                   Friday of  each month , Christmas in the Park the Tauranga Arts                                                                                                                                         and Garden Festival  and other local events.                                                                                                                                                                            The choir also does a end of the year concert for friends and family.
